We use nothing but certified organic latex, organic cotton, and organic wool — no synthetic foams, no chemical flame retardants, no shortcuts. It is the same standard our family has held since 1964, delivered to your door in Malibu, Point Dume, and along the entire coastline.
At the center of every Whole Organic Mattress is a six-inch core of 100% pure Talalay latex, flanked on top and bottom by three-inch layers of softer Talalay latex — each housed in its own zippered chamber, so firmness can be adjusted layer by layer to fit exactly how you sleep.
The cover is quilted in natural cotton and wool, fully reversible, with reinforced handles and a 360° zipper for easy access. Every mattress is available in Natural or Certified Organic constructions, backed by a 20-Year Warranty.
Natural latex is an open-cell material — air moves freely through every layer, so the mattress sleeps cool through Malibu's warm nights rather than trapping heat the way memory foam does. It resists dust mites, requires no chemical treatment to meet fire-safety standards, and simply outlasts synthetic alternatives.
Pressure is distributed evenly across the shoulders, hips, and lower back, easing the aches that come with a day in the water or on the trail, and promoting the deeper, uninterrupted sleep a coastal life deserves.
